Heading Home from Singapore
I'm currently in Hong Kong where it's about 7pm local time waiting for my connecting flight to San Francisco which won't land until 6pm PDT Monday. 12 hours of flying - good thing on the flight back my seat will have a power outlet so I can continue to catch up on emails and other things since I've been away since 4 January.

Over the past 11 days I've had the great opportunity to meet directly with a wide range of people in Seoul and Singapore including Flash developers, mobile content developers, UI designers for OEMs and content providers. One developer, Dale Rankine actually made the trip from Brisbane, Australia to Seoul to become certified as a Flash Lite 1.1 Instructor. There's definitely a lot going on in APAC and I will be traveling back to this region soon.

You can check out this video clip I shot yesterday with my Nokia N90 - it's a view of an outdoor dining/pub area called Boat Quay which is along the Singapore river. It looks ominous with the dark clouds but luckily it didn't rain that day.

Let me know what you think of viewing video instead of photos - I may start to add more video to my blogs as I think it can be more interesting.

If you've emailed me in the past week or so I'll be replying to you within the next few days - thanks for your patience.

Hi Bill, great quality! A big improvement on the on compression codec found on my Nokia 6680. A third party software upgrae is the answer I guess. Cheers Alistair
