It might be beneficial to have content examples for some of the recommendations (code and/or visuals).
The Nokia Visual Guide takes this approach where they say do x, not y.

yep, it's something we're working on. A lot more examples and sample code showing what works and what doesn't.

Agreed Scott, though this is a good quick reference! I would make sure to keep the next version balanced. It feels allot better to read a paragraph about a known issue, than 3 pages on the same subject with test cases.
Maybe this could act as the crib sheet for a much more indepth publication?

I agree that it is a good quick reference. I think a lot of the points were carried over from Flash Lite 1.1, the bit about hiding movie clips was new to me though. I'll have to try that out. :)
