On the Adobe Mobile and Devices Developer Center we've posted a new white paper (PDF) for Nokia developers interested in learning how to control the Softkey positions for handsets that allow for different screen orientations like the Nokia E70. You can use these with Flash Lite 1.1 and 2.0 content. I'll be posting some sample FLA files next week that demonstrate how to use these new FSCommand2() commands.

hello,

what is the version of flash lite player that is supporting this command? i do not think that flash player v1.1 or v2, either preinstalled or installed will support this command. Or??

sorry for putting this post here, but regarding the Motorola L7 on your previous post, have you managed to find out about the FL player? Went into a phone shop y/day and tried to send a swf file to their demo L7 but it wouldnt accept it!! Are you creating profiles for phones that are flash capable but not pre-installed? or is the L7 with flashlite only a US model :-(. So we are into Q4 2006 lets hope we can get some good news about phones with pre-installed players - for Europe at least.
P.S have the 3 phones slated for 2.1 been release in the states yet??

1) FL1.1 supports this command today as well as FL2.x.

2) The devices that are made available in our device profile updates are for FL supported handsets. I'm still trying to get an L7 in-house for testing and will post results on my blog. As of today there are no handsets shipping in the US with FL2.x pre-installed. I'll let people know once we have info to convey ;o)
