MAX Conference Guide in Flash Lite?
MAX US Flash Lite event guide request
So with MAX US starting on 24 October I thought it would be good to see if anyone is planning on creating or has already created an event guide using Flash Lite. It can be either Flash Lite 2.0 or 1.1 and would work on any handset that supports Flash Lite, wheter it's pre-installed or using a developer version of Flash Lite player.

You can visit the Adobe MAX US event web site to gather images, schedule, session information and other information you can use in your application.

This is not an official Adobe MAX conference request, instead I thought I'd reach out to the community to see what could be created. Next week I will be adding a page to my site for the downloads of these event guides by the community so anyone can download them. They can be either submitted as a SIS file (Symbian installer package) or SWF file.

If you have any questions about this you can leave a comment. If you want to share your Flash Lite MAX US event guide you can send it to me and I'll upload it to my site (b perry at adobe dot com) for anyone to download.

Bill,

Since I'll be presenting at MAXUP on my mobile iCalendar Reader, I'll probably put a MAX iCal file together and bundle my app to work with it.

Hi Bill,

last year at MAX you used a small camera that could be mounted on a mobile device for showing its display on a big screen.

Can you tell me who are making these and where I can ourchase one, thanks!

It's easy, there are a lot of device that embededd flash lite 1.1 instead flash lite 2.0 or 2.1

Hi! Bill:

I am Ch@rlie T@i, who made the Temples of Taipei. One of my friend Bing Liu is going to interview you during MAX in Taiwan, 2PM in Nov. 2nd. And I will also be there cause I wanna meet you in person and discuss a possible collaboration between my company's content protection solution for flash memory cards and Flash Lite player.

Hi! Bill:

It's great having the chance meeting you. I checked your site about PPC Flash for the first time in 2001, you are the trail blazer for Flash on mobile devices.

You're my hero!!! :-)

Bill,

I didn't put a MAX iCal file together for my mobile iCalendar reader because the number of events was overwhelming for the UI. I did, however, use the app for my own schedule, and it worked extremely well. In the demo I've posted to my latest blog entry you can see my conference schedule presented in my Flash Lite 1.1 mobile Google Calendar.
