A few weeks ago we announced with ASPire and China Mobile that China Mobile is now offering a Flash Lite content download service for their subscribers. Subscribers with supported handsets can access and download Flash Lite content from five different categories via their Monternet service which is available through their phone's web browser. With over 300 million subscribers for China Mobile there's a lot of opportunity for Flash Lite developers to sell their content to subscribers and we're really excited about the opportunity in China for growing a Flash Lite ecosystem.
You can go to the 1:39:34 time mark in the recorded Adobe financial analyst presentation from 28 March to hear more about China Mobile and their Flash Lite download service.

There isn't a Chinese version of the Flash Lite player, they're all the same and ported to handsets by the OEM. The dialogs of the standalone Flash Lite player may be localized based on the current phone OS language settings.

Yes, that's cool news...I wish the US cell phone market would realize that Asia is whooping their butts. Maybe it's because they have as many users over their as citizens over here. sigh

Thanks a lot for this knowledge. I was wondering what in the world was China doing with flash and i've found out the answer here. So with this being the case, how does one actually get their application on the Monternet marketplace? I've been to their site and it is very confusing. Thanks!
