If you're looking for inspiration of how you can make money and succeed with Flash Lite then I recommend you take a look at the Moket case study on the Adobe site. Dale Rankine (CEO and a web/FL developer) started with developing web sites using Flash and Coldfusion and then saw the potential of Flash Lite. He invested time, resources and belief into Flash Lite and now Moket is focusing 100% of their time and projects solely on Flash Lite.
Here are some great stats:
- Increased volume of contributed content to network by 300%
- Engaged 200 developers
- Increased Moket revenue by more than 3,000% in past 12 months
- Increased revenue streams for independent developers

Good for them. I have left AS2 a while ago and won't look back. I won't touch Flash Lite anymore until it gets switched to the much elegant AS3 language and framework. I can't afford to go back to the clumsiness that is AS1/2 and have double efforts around. That and until more phones support the above version of Flash Lite.

Well, d4u, I guess when phones support AS3 no doubt you'll point out the benefits of AS4 or AS5. Sounds like you wouldn't watch TV if your remote broke.
I have no problem going back to fscommand if I saw opportunities. I think it's great this company has had some success selling to the carriers. I find the process daunting and the inherent need for middle men unattractive--yet, if there is work, great.
I'm still not clear how much demand is there for content... but, cool, it's going in the right direction! Keep linking to such information!
