It's almost here, the annual gathering of the world's mobile industry players at Mobile World Congress (previously known as 3GSM) will be happening from 11-14 Feb. The 4 day event will be in Barcelona, Spain again this year and Adobe will be there with a booth presence and meeting room spaces. If you are planning on attending then be sure to stop by our booth (Hall 1 Stand 1E05) to see examples of Adobe technologies and solutions for mobile devices including Flash Lite, Flash Cast and Flash Home.

This will be my fourth time attending this conference and I find it to be one of the most exciting and exhausting conferences each year. If the turn out last year is any indication, the number of companies and devices they'll be showing will be amazing. It's at this conference where device manufacturers show off their new mobile devices that will be available this year for consumers to purchase and for technology companies to unveil and demonstrate their technologies and how it will improve consumers lives.

I'll be doing some live demos of mobile authoring and showing new technologies in our booth in addition to meeting with a wide range of customers and partners. When I'm not busy with those things my time will be spent walking through each of the eight conference halls and checking out things.

One thing that I'm looking forward to is meeting up with Flash Lite developers who attend the conference or who will be in the Barcelona area during that week. For the past few years we've all gone out for some food and drinks to meet up and discuss things.
