This morning we launched a new mobile demos page on the Adobe site which has 8 different video walk throughs of Flash mobile applications that have been created by various companies. They include:
- Bacardi
- Mightyverse
- SpongeBob SquarePants
- Finetune
- Nasdaq Retail
- Sony Pictures
- Johnny Walker
- Nasdaq Executive
If you find these types of demo walk throughs interesting let me know.

Great demos Bill,
How Bacardi app detected screen oreintation? is it something from FL3.1 or they're using BG process to this stuff?
I would love to see more. So, keep posting :)

there's a tech article on our dev center that talks about the screen orientation AS code:

If you are looking for more than a yes/no response ... then perhaps you could put a short survey out there to the broader community? Just a thought.

These are all interesting demos with compelling business drivers validating the concept. But they're all just concepts right? Nothing has shipped as of yet, so they aren't market tested yet?
My other question is how much time/money did Adobe invest in partnering in these projects? I understand that there's always opportunity costs inherent with rolling out new products or old ones with new capabilities, but Flash Lite, while always getting better, isn't new. I'm curious to know how much cost Adobe is willing to amortize in their involvement with getting stuff like this to market (eventually).
Regardless, great job on the videos Bill, John Agger was great as well. Hope to see more awesome demos like this going forward to seed better adoption.
